Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV

    Todays World

In today’s world, Jesus’ person, teachings and mission are often questioned. His claim to be  “the way truth, and life” [John 14:6] is rejected by many as dogmatic, intolerant, and politically incorrect. Such a response of rejection will prohibit a saving relationship with Jesus. But persons serious about exploring the claims of Jesus and experiencing life in Him will find the truth of Jesus’ identity. All who do so will experience the power of firsthand faith.

John 7:17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. [NKJV]

    The Lord Reigns

The Lord reigns supreme forever. There will never be an end to His reign. He reigns in heaven, and His kingdom extends over all: all people, all rulers, and all worldly champions. God has permanently established His throne in the heavens; no one will ever dethrone the Lord. We can find great comfort in knowing that our God has power over everything, especially in this world where we constantly face change and instability. We can be strengthened greatly by knowing that our supreme Lord is in control of all things.

The Lord has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules over all.Psalm 103:19 NKJV

    Be Ready

Although no one knows when the Lord will return. Each of us must prepare for our  meeting with the Lord we cannot borrow this from another. Nor can we wait till the last minute to prepare for His return. No we don’t know when Christ will return. But we know we are going to meet Him either when we die or when He returns.  Let us make sure we are ready.

Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matthew 25:13- KJV

    Never Changing

People may change, relations change,, conditions change, fashions change, and even circumstances change. There is one thing that never changes God. His love never changes. His holiness never changes, His purpose never changes, His glory is never changing He is the same yesterday , today, and forever. So we can find no reason not to trust Him.

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans 1:20 NIV

    Don’t You Remember?

After the crucifixion, the future for Jesus’ disciples had seemed devastating. The women came to the tomb, found it empty, and were heartbroken. Then the angels said to them, in effect ”Don’t you remember what Jesus promised?

The season which we celebrate  our Lord’s resurrection is God’s way of saying to us, even in the midst of  despair and hopelessness, “Don’t you remember?

He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Luke 24:6

May everyone have a very blessed and happy Easter.
